All major errors on U.S. gold coins are very scarce, especially on the larger denominations. This Type II $20 Liberty is a multiple error which is extremely unusual.

Although it is hard to fully see because it is in the holder, the obverse die was misaligned and it looks slightly off-center. This mint error also has a partial collar, which in itself is rare on this large denomination.
