This is a spectacular major mint error and a unique discovery coin. It is the only known U.S. Quarter (pre-state or state) struck on the pure copper core.

It is multiple struck, uniface, expanded to the size of a Half Dollar and has a reeded edge. It is in choice mint state condition and has an attractive red and brown color.
