1980-P Roosevelt Dime Struck on Defective Copper Core

There are several ways that a U.S. Dime can be struck on a copper planchet. One way is when both clad layers detach after bonding in the strip. Another way occurs when the copper strip bypasses the bonding process. A third way is when a copper planchet intended to strike a Cent denomination is punched to dime size.
I discovered a 1964 Dime struck on U.S. copper cent alloy and a few 1998 and 1999 Dimes struck on copper core punched to dime size. The weight suggests that this Dime was struck on the copper core. Copper Dimes are extremely rare and there are less than ten known, regardless of how the error occurred in the minting process.
