This is an extremely rare, incredible and dramatic set of proof pattern overstrike errors. In 1990 the Mexico City Mint struck a new 100,000 Pesos Proof Pattern coin. It was struck in bronze with an extremely low mintage of 223, and is KM-Pn245. There are also a few known that were struck in brass, silver, aluminum, and lead.

These 1990 Proof 100,000 Pesos overstruck on 1 Onza silver coinage are double denominations with dual dates. The 1980 Onza is KM-M49b.5 and the 2008 Onza is KM639. The Mexico City Mint struck 1 Onza Libertad Silver Bullion Coinage.

This is an opportunity for a mint error collector or a collector of Mexican coinage to acquire a fascinating set of proof overstrike errors.
