This is a unique multiple mint error on a Spain Peseta struck from 1975 to 1980. This major mint error was struck 30% off-center on an off-metal brass planchet composed of copper and zinc. Unfortunately, NGC did notate the brass composition on the insert.

The regular issued Peseta is on a 3.5 gram aluminum-bronze planchet with a diameter of 21mm and listed as KM #806. It has a composition of 92% copper, 6% aluminum and 2% nickel.

This type portrays King Juan Carlos I on the obverse and the coat of arms on Spain on the reverse. It was struck from 1975 to 1980 at the Royal Mint of Spain. The 1978 issue was also struck by the Santiago de Chile Mint and the British Royal Mint.

Major mint errors from Spain are very scarce, and this off-metal off-center is unique!
