Clad proof Roosevelt Dimes were first struck in San Francisco in 1992. This is the only proof clad U.S. Dime blank planchet known to exist and was recently certified and authenticated by PCGS. Considering that a Presidential Dollar blank with the edge lettering is being offered by a well known error coin dealer for $8k and Silver Dollar blanks sell up to $2k each, this unique proof clad dime blank is an exciting discovery.
