This is an official die trial from the Canceled Dies of an 1884-CC Silver Dollar. Both the obverse and reverse strikes from the canceled dies were struck on the same silver ingot. This was officially struck by the Carson City Mint/Nevada State Museum Authorities and was the only piece struck in silver. It is uniface and weighs 291.4 grams. It is in mint state quality with full luster and a light attractive patina.
