| 1905 Barber Dime Struck on a Costa Rica 5C Planchet
NGC XF 40
For the entire Barber series (halves, quarters and dimes) there are only four known off-metals. All four of these are Barber dimes struck on foreign planchets. Two of them are on silver Venezuela 1/4 Bolivar planchets and the other two are on Costa Rica 5 Centimos planchets. This Barber dime off-metal weighs one gram, is nicely centered, softly struck and has mint luster even though it was graded extremely fine.

| 1964-D Roosevelt Dime Struck on a U.S. Cent Alloy Planchet
PCGS MS 64
This is the only known Roosevelt dime struck on a U.S. cent copper alloy planchet. This may have been an experimental piece or a mint error. This unique numismatic rarity should not be confused with the several known 1999 dimes struck on cent stock.

| 1920 Standing Liberty Quarter Struck on Peru 20C Planchet
NGC MS 60 FH Unique
This is the only known Standing Liberty Quarter struck on a foreign planchet for the entire series. Standing Liberty Quarter Off-Metals are so rare that there are only a handful known struck on any other planchet. This unique off-metal is a very recent discovery and was unknown to the numismatic community and not listed in any reference book or catalog.
This is one of the most incredible and rare major mint errors that I've ever had the pleasure of offering for sale. It is an extreme rarity and would be the centerpiece of any mint error or Standing Liberty Quarter collection.

| 1924 Standing Liberty Quarter Double Struck
ANACS AU 55
This is the most dramatic of three known double struck Standing Liberty Quarters. It is very rare to find any major mint errors in the Standing Liberty Quarter series. It would be the highlight of a mint error collection or a Standing Liberty Quarter collection.

| 1945-S Walking Liberty Half Struck On An El Salvador 25 Centavo Planchet
NGC MS 63
This is one of two known Walking Liberty Half Dollars struck on a Foreign Planchet for another country. It is on a planchet that was produced for the El Salvador Silver 25 Centavo. The 25 Centavo was struck for only two years, 1943 and 1944. Since this Walking Liberty Half Off-Metal is dated 1945, it is on a left-over planchet that was stuck in the bin or hopper from the previous year.
