Barber Dime off-metals are extremely rare. In fact, there are just five known in the entire Barber Dime series from 1892-1916. The U.S. Mint in Philadelphia struck coinage for Costa Rica in 1905. This Barber Dime was struck on a blank intended for a Costa Rica 5C planchet.

This Barber dime off-metal is unique for the date, denomination and country for 1905. It weighs one gram, is nicely centered, softly struck and has mint luster even though it was graded extremely fine.
